MATTER
The Physical Universe
Consciousness precedes Matter. It authors Matter, shapes it, fabricates it. But just like a painter cannot express his or her art without a canvass, Consciousness needs Matter to expresses itself. All that we perceive is generated by us as we perceive each and every experience in our lives, but we are not alone. The Physical Universe we experience is a collective construction and thus a collective experience. Even if I were to chose to isolate myself in pure thought away from all other sentient beings, my body would still be the canvass for the expressions of my thoughts. And though we can choose to drift passively, allowing ourselves to observe motionless the world as it manifests itself around us, the very act of observing will still require intent. Intent is the vessel through which our Consciousness manifests what we perceive, and Intent determines our lives both individually as well as collectively. Whatever our human aspirations may be, our intent will determine their realisation and success. Just like the intent of an individual determines his or her fate, the collective intent of a team, a business, a nation will determine their success – that is what great leaders do, they drive the vision to form a collective intent. More and more though, we are shaping the world through collective efforts, we are shaping a new collective Intent. It is thus vial to our species, that his collective intent must maintain the human individual at its core essence.
Whilst our Consciousness permeates all physical reality in the Universe we live in and express ourselves, it is only by living and thriving in the expressions of our Consciousness through our own experiences that we can grow and in return learn to express ourselves with the tools availble in our Universe. A painter will only grow through the practice of painting. I have tried to learn as much as possible aout this world, and here I will share my personal experiences in the fields of innovation, science, entrepreneurship, history, society, and the environment.
